“In absence of clearly defined goals, we become strangely loyal to performing daily acts of trivia.” – Author Unknown
Every day we are bombarded with things that clamor for our attention. Through television, the Internet, radio, relationships, and all of the daily occurrences that comprise our day, there is no shortage of ways in which we can spend our time. While each one of these things offers merit, they can also present distraction.
Make sure that you balance your attention every day. Feed your spirit. Exercise your body. Nurture your relationships. Expand your mind. Realize your goals for each aspect of your being and weigh the magnets for your attention as they come. If you clearly outline what you want to say ‘yes’ to in life, it makes it much easier to say ‘no’ to the things which will not help you achieve them.
